If you want to find a professional to help you with your website all you need to do is head on over to https://www.wix.com/marketplace and submit a brief. The briefing process is really simple and you will have a chance to give a specific partner a more detailed brief once you are matched with them. In this first step all you need to do is select a few answers to the on-screen question and Wix will automatically match you with Partners that will be a good fit. Wix takes into account the Partner's location, language preferences, price range and skillset. Once Wix has matched you with 5 partners that meet your criteria they will be sent the basic overview of your brief. At this point the partner's have 24 hours to respond to your request.
Once you have received a response from a partner you can now engage with them and decide if they are going to be the right fit for you. You are not obligated to work with any of them at that point and you can decide who gets your job based on how you feel about the partners.
For Marshall Arts, we often send an initial email with a request to book some kind of meeting either on Zoom, Google Meets or Microsoft Teams. During that initial meeting we will go through a process of discovery to understand what you need done to your website and how we can best achieve that solution.
Once a solution has been decided on, we send our prospective clients a formal proposal and quote. Once the client signs off on the quote (and pays a deposit) we begin work on their site. Marshall Arts typically takes about 2 weeks to complete an average Wix MarketPlace job. Of course some jobs take a little longer and some are much quicker, but two weeks is a good benchmark average and that is usually how long it takes to build a brand new website from start to finish.
For us, the most important part of the MarketPlace is being able to enable business owners to make profitable business tools through Wix. Be that a marketing campaign or store optimisation, we always focus on ensuring that our clients see profit from the work that we do.
Once a job is completed, the partner submits the job on the MarketPlace and at that point you have a the option to review the work done. If you are happy with the work, you can make the job as complete and leave a review for the partner based on the work that they did for you.
